In a ceremony brimming with pride and achievement, the IFMS Annual Contractor HSE Performance Meeting stood as a testament to the leadership HSE commitment of all involved parties to uphold the highest standards of HSE excellence. Hosted by the Majnoon Field Production and Development Division of BOC, the event celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of subcontractors operating within Majnoon Oil Field.

Since award of IFMS contract in 2018, our commitment to enhancing the HSE culture has been evident. Through proactive interventions such as culture surveys, HSE leadership trainings, electronic permit-to-work systems, and contractor HSE forums, a collaborative environment has been fostered, driving continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Celebrating Success
At the IFMS Contractor HSE Performance Meeting, awards were gave upon the top performers of 2023. Iraqi Drilling Company clinched the title of Top HSE Contractor Performance, while Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas Group earned recognition for Excellent HSE Contractor Performance. Daqing Oilfield Construction Group Co. and Sakir Almorouj K for general contract also received commendation for their contributions.
This is not the first time that the IFMS Contractor HSE performance evaluation was recognized positively. In the second quarter of 2023, Antonoil Services in the Majnoon Oil Field Development was honored by His Excellency, Iraqi Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani, to celebrate the opening and handover of projects. At the same time, he delivered awards to the contractors identified as top performers in HSE. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest HSE standards and ensuring safe production at all times.
Shared Vision
Throughout the proceedings, there was a resounding emphasis on the collaborative spirit that underpins HSE achievements within Majnoon Oil Field. Mr. Mahmood Shaker, Deputy Manager of BOC MFPD, and Mr. Muzahim Mahwi, BOC's HSE Manager, both lauded the collective efforts of all stakeholders, emphasizing the journey towards Goal Zero.
Milestones of Safety
Special mention was reserved for Iraqi Drilling Company and Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas Group, who celebrated significant milestones of two years without any Lost Time Incidents.
